65 Roses Garden Party

Attend the 2006 65 Roses Garden Party! The 65 Roses Garden Party has been held the second Sunday in September for the past five years. During that span, over $100,000 has been raised to support cystic fibrosis research, primarily thanks to the hard work of Tina Buck.

Through the years, the 65 Roses Garden Party was billed as an elegant yet casual afternoon soirée, featuring signature dishes from popular area restaurants such as Timothy's and Wood Fire Trattoria, as well as an array of fine wines from Contessa Wine Cellars, St. Julian's Winery & Karma Vista Vineyards. Music was provided by renouned jazz vocalist Jenna Mammina and in later years by Lake Effect Winds. Of course, extraordinary handmade chocolate truffles were mainstays of each event, as was a very popular silent auction.

Tina will be taking a break from the intensive time demands of the Garden Party in 2007, but is continuing in her efforts to raise money to fight cystic fibrosis. She has just introduced her biggest box of truffles yet, the Wine & Roses Assortment. Each box has 36 luscious truffles either made with wine or made to pair with wine, and includes the brand new Vanilla Rose Truffle, created especially for this assortment. 10% of every one of these 2¼ lb boxes is contributed directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Tina even commissioned her favorite fine artist, Randall Higdon, to create the "Lavender Rose" image for the custom cover of the box.You can read more about the Wine & Roses assortment here, or purchase it directly by clicking here. We thank Tina for her tremendous efforts the past five years, and look forward to working with her on future projects. We encourage you to think of Tina and The Chocolate Garden when you need that perfect gift or just feel like treating yourself to some extraordinary handmade chocolate truffles.
